The Fatsoma alternative
Your ticket money.Every Monday.
On Fatsoma, you ask for your money after the event. On Covered, it arrives in your own account every Monday while you're still selling, for a lower fee per ticket.
You shouldn't have to fund your own event while someone else holds the takings. On Covered, guests pay you directly, and the money's in your bank before the doors open.
Payouts
Paid every Monday. Not after the event.
Fatsoma's funds clear 48 hours after your event ends, and then you request a payout, which takes up to 3 working days to arrive. Until then, the acts, the venue and the promotion all come out of your own pocket. On Covered, ticket money goes straight into your own Stripe account and reaches your bank every Monday, without asking.

Skiddle: Can pay as you sell through your own Stripe account, without Skiddle's protections. Fatsoma: Payouts are requested by the organiser and take up to 3 working days to arrive. Covered: A brand-new account's first payout can take a little longer while Stripe verifies the business.

Questions
Switching, answered.
Is Covered cheaper than Fatsoma?+–
On the booking fee, yes, at every ticket price: Covered takes 7% per ticket (minimum 30p), and Fatsoma charges 10% per ticket, £1 minimum. On Covered, card processing is billed to your own Stripe account separately; Fatsoma doesn't say in its published fees whether it passes processing on.
When does Fatsoma pay out?+–
Fatsoma's funds clear 48 hours after the event ends. You then request a payout from your dashboard, and it should reach your account within 3 working days. On Covered, every organiser is paid every Monday from their first sale, without having to ask.
Can I move from Fatsoma to Covered?+–
Yes, and there's nothing to migrate. Create your next event on Covered, connect Stripe and share the new link. Tickets you've already sold on Fatsoma stay valid there, so most organisers switch from their next event.
How much does Covered cost?+–
Nothing to start and no monthly fee. Covered takes 7% per ticket (minimum 30p), which you can pass on to guests as a booking fee or cover yourself. Card processing is billed to your own Stripe account separately.
Can I take bookings on my own website?+–
Yes. Paste two lines of code and the full booking flow appears on your site, as well as on Covered and in the Covered Discover app.
